Our Story

My Dog and Cat Treats started in my kitchen — out of love, frustration, and a whole lot of label reading.

When I adopted Brittany, my sweet dog, from a local rescue, I thought we were heading into a happy new chapter. But within weeks, she broke out in stubborn skin rashes that wouldn’t go away. We tried it all: vet visits, specialists, medicated shampoos, diet changes… nothing worked. Every food had something — chicken, beef, fillers — that made her worse.

And then there’s Charlie, my cat. She’s never had a food allergy, but she might be the pickiest eater on the planet. Canned food? Pass. Most treats? No thanks. I realized that even pets without allergies deserved better options — ones that were clean, simple, and actually appealing.

So I started crafting treats from real, gentle ingredients — no chicken, no beef, no junk. Just thoughtfully chosen proteins and natural flavors pets can enjoy without compromise.

Now, what began as a personal mission has become My Dog and Cat Treats — a brand for sensitive pups like Brittany, choosy cats like Charlie, and all the health-conscious pet parents who want more than the average treat aisle has to offer.
